We welcome diverse projects both in terms of size and style, the common denominator being the ability to tell stories without words. We achieve this, in collaboration with our clients and professional network of suppliers, contractors, & craft-persons.
Since we draw inspiration from a wide range of sources, each project has its own design aesthetic, but the process of working remains consistent. We break it down into 3 clear phases; Consultation, Design & Development, Project Management & Execution
As with our projects, clients vary in shapes and sizes. Some prefer to take an active role, whereas others prefer a completed project with reduced input, but we’ll discuss this upfront. We’re also firm believers that interior design expertise should be accessible; whether your home requires full construction or final styling touches, we tailor the brief to suit the requirements of each project.

DREAM IT
(The Consultation)
This usually starts with coffee and enables us to better understand your goals for the project. We work towards defining a clear project plan, discussing timescale & budget before developing a creative brief and embarking on the design.
At MACANDSIX we can design and manage your project from idea's generation through to final execution, so we'll also discuss the scope of the project, & how much involvement you need from us.
As well as tackling the ‘nitty gritty’, it’s also a nice opportunity to just sit & get to know one another.

DESIGN IT
( Design & Development )
After developing a robust plan of action, the design process can begin in earnest, this starts with a site-visit allowing us to see the space with our own eyes. At this point we also begin taking measurements for floor plans, and where required measurements for bespoke cabinetry, window and wall treatments, upholstery, lighting & electrical placements.
We enjoy using both hand-sketches, & digitally produced imagery to visualise each space in combination with mood-boards, and always present physical samples of fabrics, finishes & materials for final sign-off.
For furniture pieces we work with established furniture brands from across Europe, but will also hunt for pre-loved pieces to unearth a diamond in the rough, or collaborate with our network of trusted craftspersons to produce something unique. -
BUILD IT
(Project Management & Execution)
MACANDSIX then coordinates the realisation and layout with a feasible plan. The devil is in the detail, and as such we only work with tried and tested tradespersons to execute our designs. We're well versed in communicating directly with contractors both on-site and behind the scenes, to ensure the accurate & consistent flow of information back and forth.
We appreciate that the process of home renovation often has many moving parts, but there’s nothing more satisfying than when it comes together, and fortunately for you this is what we do everyday. We enjoy our work, we do it with pride, and treat every home as if it were our own.
